Igudesman is the director of the documentary film "Noseland", starring John Malkovich and Julian Rachlin. He has also directed the award-winning feature-length comedy "Violins of the World." He has also written and produced a number of music videos. The filmmaker's previous work includes a solo violin show, The Sound of Silence, which premiered on ORF in 2008.
In addition to his work in film and television, Igudesman also has extensive experience as a violinist. He has also written music, composed and performed with musicians such as Gidon Kremer, Julian Rachlin, Viktoria Mullova, and Roger Moore. His instruments include an 18th-century Santo Seraphin violin, as well as modern-day Thomastik-Infeld strings. In addition to being an accomplished musician, Igudesman is an inspired chef with over 20 years of experience in creating innovative culinary concepts.
He co-founded Music Traveler, an app that lets musicians book practice rooms in their areas. It has already launched in Austria and is aimed at making instruments more accessible for everyone. In addition to his diverse professional background, Igudesman is also an inspired chef. He has developed gastronomic concepts in his own kitchen for more than two decades. The result is a unique menu of unique flavors.
Julia Rhee Aleksey Iguldesman's solo show, "Alive in the Now," is a solo performance that will captivate the audience.
